What happens to the values you enter
Timestamps, dates, IDs, pasted text and files you open are processed by JavaScript in your browser. They are not sent to our servers or to any third party. The site has no backend that could receive them.
What is stored on your device
- Settings (time zone, precision, rounding, compared zones), saved in your browser's IndexedDB so they are restored next time.
- An input history, only if you turn it on under "Settings and local data". It is off by default.
- Your theme choice, in localStorage.
- If your browser installs the offline service worker, cached copies of this site's own pages and scripts.
None of this is synchronised between devices. You can export a backup, or delete everything with "Delete all local data". Clearing site data in your browser also removes it.
Links
"Copy settings link" adds only settings to the URL. "Copy link with value" also includes the value you entered. Anyone you share that link with, and any service it passes through, can see the value.
Advertising and analytics
This build has no analytics and no advertising scripts. If advertising is enabled in the future, it will be disclosed here, consent requirements will be followed, and ads will never receive the values you convert.
